Forever 21 vs Ariana Grande

If you don't know then you are gonna learn right now. Ms. Grande was offered a deal with Forever 21. She was supposed to be the "look" for their inspired line. This line copies the 7 rings video reasons as to why they contacted Ms.Grande in the first place. The deal was(as reported by a different source) Ms.Grande would be posting photos and maybe tweet a few things, plus there being a photoshoot. She has made her name that she can be paid six figures for just on posting. Forever 21 decided to save the money and use a model.  Here are some pictures for you to decide if they did copy her. Now that the lawsuit has become public Forever 21 has taken down their post about the 7 rings collection and it is not on their website.  

The questions the comes up is, can this be compared to Kim Kardashian West and Fashion Nova? The answer is no. Kim Kardashian West wears other peoples ideas, not just them being the first wearing a dress. Because anyone can buy the dress and make it their own. To better explain if you can be on the tabloid on who wore it better you will find it difficult to take action against companies for copying clothing.  

My advice for Forever 21 if you're not going to give the paycheck, choose a different collection.
