Down for School
Hello fam!
So as I am choosing colleges paying to reserve my seat at certain ones that are my back up college. I am having such a difficult time running around creating my portfolio and trying to come up with content for this blog.
Anyways todays advice will be about school. Specific HighSchool.
One. No one fits in. Let's be honest do you feel that if you stoped texting your friends and only talked to them face to face would you be comfortable with how that felt or would you feel some awkwardness between the two of you.
Most of the time there is awkwardness. And that Sucks!
School is supposed to be about education. Sadly it is only about who can get in the top 5% of their class and who can have the most people know them. Although this is coming from a girl in a school with about 3 thousand kids(and growing) this goes for the smaller high schools also.
I will get to the point before I go on a rant.
My advice for high school students is none at all. Simply go through the emotions. There are specific studying tips that I can give you because everyone retains information differently. Oh...get a councilor learn how to deal with stress and take a time management class because we all need it.
My advice for teachers is to learn how your students learn. The reason there is a no when it comes to being a teacher because there are so many different brains that you deal with. Go against the law and slow down the class make sure that your students aren't only nodding heads only to ask if that is going to be on the test. In my opinion(I could be completely wrong) if students have to ask "Is this going to be on the test?" then you aren't engaging your students the way the should be.
That's all for right now. Bye.
Thanks for reading. Comment.
